This morning I watch GMC. According to them, 35% of women think negative about their body 5 times a day. 77% of women felt unhappy after swimsuits shopping. And 67% of women believe life would be better if they are slimmer.

Wow, what a shocking statistics! Many people are govern by what they think they are.

1200 pounds Man? Morbid Obesity

1200 pounds man? Are you sure? Oh, my goodness! Yesterday night, I saw the Medical Mystery series about obesity in abc channel. The show interviewed a Mexican guy named Manuel Uribe, now weighing 1,200 pounds. Wow, 1200 pounds, is equivalent to 16 ME! He was bedridden for the past five years, was abandoned by his wife because she was frightened by his increasing size.

According to abc news, Manuel Uribe is currently on a diet. He now weighs 800 pounds, but still can't stand on his own, and spends his days in a special industrial-size bed.

According to the National Institutes of Health, obesity means weighing 20 percent or more than your ideal body weight, and it's a health risk.

Morbid obesity is another case. It is sometimes being referred to as"clinically severe obesity," it means you're 100 pounds or more over ideal body weight, with a body mass index of 40 or higher.

Insoluble Fiber and Your Weight Management

What is Insoluble Fiber? Insoluble Fiber is the coarse, chewy part of a plant that does not dissolve in water. It forms a plant's structure and can be found in the outside tissue such as fruit skins, stringy vegetables and crunchy whole grains.

Insoluble fiber passes through the body largely intact. It soaks up water like a sponge, adding bulk and softness to the stool. This not only prevents constipation, but also speeds the rate at which food goes through your system. According to the findings from the American Journal of clinical Nutrition, 2003, vol.78, no.5, diets that are rich in insoluble whole grains help people lose weight and keep it off.

For your information, foods that contain the most insoluble fiber include cabbage, carrots, cauliflowers, apple skin, whole wheat bread and other whole grains.

Bridal Beauty prior to Wedding

Every woman wants to look beautiful on her wedding day. She would, however, be disappointed if she were to depend on cosmetics to bring sudden changes in her. Cosmetics may, at best, hide a few defects but they do not have the capacity to change your looks. It is, therefore, important that you look after yourself at least two months prior to the wedding day. Facial once a week will clear the complexion within two months. If in your town you do not have the facility of a beautician, use homemade facial masks. But, do not forget to put cotton wool swabs soaked in rose water on your eyes.

Do a Facial Massage with face cleansers or deep-cleansing milk lightly at night before going to bed. Regular massage gives natural glow to the skin, because massaging helps in proper blood circulation which in turn, makes the skin soft, healthy and attractive. After deep cleansing, apply nourishing cream and massage lightly a little. In morning, sprinkle icy-cold water from the fridge. Do not use soap if the skin is dry. It will crack and leave white patches. Instead, use moisturizer. If the skin is oily, make a paste with oat flour, add lemon juice and rub well. It will prevent pimples.

One month before wedding stop all makeup. But, if you cannot avoid it sometimes, then clean it off soon. Moreover, stop eating fried food. Drink honey-mixed lemon water first of all in the morning before taking any other drink.

Beautiful hands symbolize a good character. For the beauty of hands remember three things-skin should be soft, fingers should have a beautiful shape, and nails should be well­trimmed. So, stop household works, like cleaning utensils, washing clothes, brooming. Or if you must, then use rubber gloves. Massage fingers with cold cream or cuticle cream at night. After kitchen work, dip fingers in soap water.
Home Remedy for Soft Hands

Take ,a spoonful sugar and juice of a lemon on your palm and rub them together with your palms till sugar melts. Honey can replace sugar, if available. It is more effective. This should be done daily for a month before wedding.

It is essential that you are ready with all the required items of makeup two days before wedding so that you remain free of tension. Go to bed early to avoid mental tension. In fact, mental peace enhances natural beauty. If you find it difficult to have a sound sleep, drink a glass of hot milk.
